Japanese Mission
I was stationed in Japan during WWII Army of Occupation and the Korean War, I met Ike Foster who was then a Missionary to Japan (now Missionary to Korea). The Lord used Brother Ike in calling me as a missionary to Japan. I married Dixie in 1954 and graduated from BBC in 1955. Served as missionaries to Japan for 25 years from 1956. Our ministry consisted of planting churches. Today there are many churches that have started out of the churches we started. Presently we have a Japanese Church Service held at Grandview Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri each Sunday. We have weekly Bible Studies in the homes of our members as well as children ministries. This ministry has been reported in the Springfield New Leader newspaper and the Baptist Bible Tribune.
